Graciously received this photo of  teamster Jeff Myers from photographer Jon Carter during the Isaac swell and wanted to include it in a post!  I believe it was taken at Pea Island's 'New Inlet' on the 1st or 2nd day of the Isaac swell. Thanks for the capture Jon!!!

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to team rider Jeffrey Myers on his invitation entry to the Bud Lite Lime Invitational, Labor Day Cup, surf contest!!! The Bud Lite Lime contest tour is making a stop here on the Outer Banks during Labor Day Weekend at Jennette's Pier. A fun, little, July south swell graced the Outer Banks last week!  Managed to capture a few clips and put together a webisode for this month!  Antwoine drove up from SC and surfed with the rest of the fam-  Seth 'Wally' Barrick, Cody Craig, Christian Kane, Patagonia's Kim Diggs, and Analog's Mark Dawson.  Enjoy!

Spring swell | April 17th | Featureless Perfection

The online surf world made sure to cover this past weekend's, spring, east coast, swell in features ranging from ESPN.com, to surfline.com, to easternsurf.com, along with many more. The Outer Banks was firing, Maryland was pumping, New Jersey was heaving epic barrels, and the Northeast was flawless. As we sat in front of our computer screens and clicked through those images that encompass the perfect combination of lighting, split second timing, uncanny athleticism, and the sheer talent that spawns photographic art, we sometimes forget about those photos that may not have grabbed that perfect ray of light during that critical, magic, split second, or the photos that may have been cursed by the auto focus of a camera, not to mention those pics that just didn't quite make the cut... Beneath the surface of all the online features and the 'perfect' photos, the boys definitely got perfection. It was just a different kind. All photos by Mickey '2M' McCarthy
