LANDSHARK PRO WRAP UP FOR MYERS AND BATBOY

Ability, surf teamrider's Jeff Myers and Sterling "Batboy" King spent a great week in New Smyrna, Florida for the Landshark Pro contest. Nothing but positive vibes, good people, and good times!!! The boys are primed and ready for the next, spring swell. As most of you know, Myers is just as much of a social ambassador as he is a professional athlete. He gets photos out of the water just as much as he does in the water. *below: Myers ripping in his Ability "Reality TV" shirt!
If you're feelin' that tee shirt design, you can cop one right here in our online store! Check out www.easternsurf.com for their full feature and coverage of the New Smyrna Landshark Pro here.

Relay For Life Fashion Show RECAP

A night to remember indeed! DJ Bruce J(c/o of Ability) started the night off with some mellow hip hop beats followed by a heartfelt speech from an extremely young cancer survivor. Justin Rudolf and band then plugged into the soundboard and played an amazing acoustic set for clothing brands Few New Zealand, A Make Believe Company, and Outer Banks based company, Savage Rips. Quickly following, ABILITY switched up the vibe with pieces from our 2009 line- The ladies walked to "So Sexual" by the Faint along with the boys, who walked to the old school hip hop track, "I Got It Made" by Special Ed! As the grand finale, Honorable Music and Skateboards were introduced with a wicked video intro! The 'goons' all walked- well I wouldn't call it walked! The female models walked, and the boys swaggered, (haha!) to "Winning" by Habs aka Derik Wineland(c/o of Honorable). In all, the night was nothing short of the word EPIC. A MASSIVE 'BIG UP' goes out to The Relay For Life team, 'Kindred Spirits'(especially Katie Pendry- event coordinator), along with the lovely ladies of Style Divita and Jessica Wineland(c/o of Honorable) for hair and make up design!!!!!! The models, who donated their time are GREATLY APPRECIATED. Without the models, the show could not have happened, SO MASSIVE THANKS!!!! Can't forget the photographers, Moving Art Productions and Michelle Connor, who graciously documented and captured so many moments during the night!!! So far Ability has posted the link to Moving Art Productions' photo gallery below. THE BIGGEST, MOST MASSIVE THANKS GO OUT TO ALL THOSE WHO CAME OUT TO SUPPORT THE SHOW AND FIGHT CANCER. RELAY FOR LIFE RAISED $3,000!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO TO EVERYONE WHO WAS INVOLVED AND SUPPORTED THE SHOW, GIVE YOURSELF A PAT ON THE BACK! WE ALL HAVE THE ABILITY TO FIGHT CANCER, AND WE SHOWED IT WITH PRIDE. BIG UP!
